We believe The Woods is a diamond in the rough—a place with “good bones” and incredible natural beauty that just needs the right care. We’re bringing the welcoming “Sioux Creek Vibe” 45 miles west to Balsam Lake to create a space where everyone feels at home.

At The Woods, we believe in being straight with our neighbors. This property is currently in a distressed state. We aren’t hiding from that; we are fixing it. Under the leadership of Bryan “Tat” Tahtinen, we are in a deep-root restoration phase. We are investing in top-tier equipment and aggressive turf rehabilitation to bring these fairways back to the lush standards you deserve. It will take time, but we invite you to watch the transformation hole by hole.
The Clubhouse Remodel
While we work on the greens, we are reimagining the heart of the property. We are currently remodeling the Clubhouse to serve as the ultimate community hub—a fun, fresh, and vibrant space for families to gather, friends to catch up, and the community to celebrate.
